INAM

It’s not about me (INAM)

People ask me why I’m running for City Council and my answer is simple, I am here to serve others. I don’t have political aspirations, but this opportunity has presented itself and I think I can help.

There are many sayings and teachings that have impacted me throughout my life, but none more so than, “It’s Not About Me.”

Oddly enough, “it’s not about me” embodies what I am about. The INAM acronym was on my high school and college practice jerseys, reminding us daily that the name on the front of the jersey was more important than the name on the back.

Having the mindset of putting others first is not an easy task, but it builds toughness, character, and has helped propel the teams I’ve been on both athletically and professionally to achieve some amazing things.

My hope is to serve my community by putting the welfare and interests of you and your families at the forefront of our decisions on council. Utilizing the skills picked up through my experiences in healthcare and higher education while continuing to make this not about me I believe I can make a difference in the Hudson community by serving on City Council.
